Our ethos

Fairfield main door

Northwood Hills Evangelical Church began in 1948 and Fairfield is now in its third building on the same site. We have always been an independent church but we link up enthusiastically with other local churches who share our Gospel convictions, irrespective of denominational links through the Evangelical Alliance and other groups both nationally and internationally.

Our vision

All to Jesus

Our purpose is The Lord's supper

We do this in the confidence that as the Lord Jesus is lifted up, he will draw all sorts of people to himself.
As we enjoy God, benefiting from his kindness, our love for him will grow and overflow to everyone to the praise of his glorious grace.

What we believe

Fairfield's doctrinal basis focuses on the core elements of the Christian faith. Therefore, we believe in:

The Leadership Team

The elders have primary responsibility for leading and feeding the church through the ministry of God's word. They are assisted by other Leadership Team members appointed from the congregation.
