Sundays

Worship at Fairfield

Our Sunday morning service is where the whole church gather together to worship and hear God's word through Bible teaching. This is the best time to visit us and see the whole church in action.

All age worship (at 10.00am) is followed by coffee break (around 10.45am) and all-age Bible teaching from 11.15am to 12 noon.

During all-age Bible teaching, children and young people are split into groups as follows:

Adults often have a choice between listening to a Bible talk or taking part in a more interactive exploration of the Bible's teaching.

Housegroups

A key part of our church life is caring for each other and sharing God's love in community relationships. So we would be delighted if you would like to join one of the many housegroups, which meet fortnightly for friendship, fellowship, Bible discussion and prayer. The housegroups meet on different days and times in and around Northwood Hills.

Women

There is a welcoming group of women, called Inspire, who meet for fellowship and mutual encouragement with prayer and Bible study during school term. A crèche is provided. Fridays 9.45 - 11.00am. More info»

Men

We hope to launch a new programme in the New Year specifically for men. Watch this space!

Young People

Vision is the group for young people aged 13-18 with regular meetings throughout the week, including socials, Bible studies and prayer.

Prayer

We strongly encourage prayer among our members.

Apart from our Sunday services, we aim to meet at least monthly as a church to pray together. Group prayer is also an important part of house groups.

Each week there are several prayer meetings which are open to all — as well as many informal prayer partnerships. From time to time we call everyone to a special prayer meeting because of a particular situation we want to pray for.

Worship Garden

Worship Garden

We have created an exciting external worship space, which is vibrant and living. The space will hopefully help facilitate reflection, meditation, prayer and refreshment.

Symbolism plays a central part in our design, drawing on Old Testament, New Testament, and early church symbols and experience, thereby rooting it in our Christian heritage.

The worship garden is located next to our car park.
