Fairfield Ramblers Programme Feb 19 to Jan 31st 2020

Next ramble:-

June 22nd - London Prayer loop walk
This walk will be led by Chris Reveley, pastor of Fairfield Church, following a section of the official TFL London Loop (section 13). This is a pleasant walk through woodland and open country, which, apart from the steep hill near the start, is not particularly demanding. There will also be an opportunity to end after about half of the 5 miles, if necessary.

As the title suggests, the objectives of the walk include stops to pray at different points on the way. The starting point is the junction of Park Lane and Summerhouse Lane in West Harefield (just across the canal from the ‘Coy Carp’ pub), where we will start at 10:00am. To get to the start point you can take the U9 bus from Uxbridge to Harefield Hospital, alighting at ‘West Harefield/Belfry Avenue’. Alternatively, take the 331 bus at 09:10 or 09:32 from Northwood Station (or other preferred stop) towards Uxbridge, alighting at ‘The Green’ in Harefield. It’s then about a three-quarters of a mile walk down Park Lane to the start point, but downhill all the way! You may even manage to connect with a U9 bus from the Library at the top of Park Lane!!

For any queries, please phone Derek Peters on 07729 826227.
